Jean François Porchez was one of the speakers at the latest SND-France and IFRA joint event held in Paris on last 18—19 th November 2004. He gave a lecture on the use of typography and typefaces in French newspapers and made some comparisons with International newspapers. Today, compared to the US, still almost only one national newspaper use custom fonts in France when about 3-4 regional newspapers use custom fonts.nov 18 2004
